Belonging to the Poaceae family, native to China. Moso is one of the most beautiful, large and durable bamboos. Sowing requires a moist and warm environment. The plants can reach, if properly cared for, several meters in height or otherwise they can be grown in pots for a dwarf plant effect. Rehydrate the seeds in water for about 24 hours before sowing them and then proceed with the burial which must take place vertically and only half: the part of the seed that contains the germinal heart, the rounder one, will be buried, while the thinnest end will be left out of the ground. Moso sprouts are edible and widely consumed in the East for food purposes.
